The AN/PVS-15 ( NV/PVS-15 ) binocular night vision system is based on the same AN/PVS-15 / SBNVS used by U.S. Special Forces. This rugged, lightweight binocular features a twin-tube design that provides comparable performance to aviation systems and better depth perception than single-tube systems afford. To accommodate multiple environments, the NV/PVS-15 is designed to operate during vehicle, assault and amphibious operations. This night vision system can be either hand-held or helmet mounted.
